Hume Central Secondary College was established in 2007 after the merger of three secondary Colleges in the Broadmeadows’ area: Broadmeadows Secondary College; Erinbank Secondary College and Hillcrest Secondary College.
Each of the founding Secondary Colleges brings a proud history to Hume Central Secondary College. This history is diverse and the best parts have been incorporated into our College.
As part of the merger, we worked on the Curriculum and Teaching and Learning practice to reflect how children are learning in the 21st century. To read more about the learning environment we have created at Hume Central and the wide range of pathways our students can choose from, click here.
With our proud past and strong foundations, our College is looking forward to creating an exciting future.
