The following Hume Central Secondary College Policies are available for download:
Child Safety Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct aims to protect children and reduce any opportunities for child abuse or harm to occur. It also assists in understanding how to avoid or better manage risky behaviours and situations. It is intended to complement child protection legislation, Department policy, school policies and procedures and professional standards, codes or ethics as these apply to staff and other personnel.
Hume Central Secondary College provides an open and friendly environment, with values and actively encourages visitors to the College. We also recognise our duty of care to ensure a safe and secure environment for all our students and staff.
Student Engagement, Well-being & Inclusion Attendance Policy
Regular school attendance enables students to maximise their full educational potential and to actively participate and engage in their learning. It is important that students maintain habits of regular attendance to maximise their educational and social development.
The Department of Education and Training (which includes all Victorian government schools, central and regional offices) values the privacy of every person and is committed to protecting information that schools collect.
