Remembrance Day Message

The 11th of November marks the anniversary of the peace agreement which ended the First World War (1914–18).

This day is known as Remembrance Day – a day to honour all the sacrifices of armed forces and civilians at times of war.

They gave their lives to ensure that the things we hold dear as Australians would endure for future generations.

In memory of those who served, suffered or died in all wars and armed conflicts,

all Australians observe one minute silence at 11 am on 11 November.

Lest we Forget
