Community
Our College works closely with the following local education providers and businesses.
The Smith Family
The Smith Family is working in partnership with Hume Central Secondary College. There are two Smith Family Workers at the Town Park Campus at Hume Central Secondary College. The Smith Family facilitates educational programs that support students’ learning such as Mentoring, Literacy, Financial Literacy, Personal Development and Life Skills.
Local Primary Schools
We partner with our neighbouring Primary Schools to ensure that the transition from primary to secondary school is a smooth one for all boys and girls in the Broadmeadows area. Our teachers work with primary school staff to prepare grade 6 students for secondary school.
Two primary schools – Broadmeadows and Broadmeadows Valley – are co-located with our Years 7-9 Campuses at Blair Street and Dimboola Road.
A number of transition days are held for grade six students in the last term of Primary School.

TAFE, Apprenticeships and Traineeships
Our local TAFE provides programs and facilities for our senior students to complete studies in VET and VCAL subjects. It is conveniently located next to Town Park, the college’s Years 10-12 Campus which means it gives students easy access to an extensive range of vocational programs. Our College also works with Headstart to provide students the opportunity to undertake Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
