Year 12 Camp

On September 28th, Hume Central Year 12 students embarked on an exciting overnight adventure to Camp Sunnystones, and what an unforgettable experience it turned out to be for all the Year 12 students involved!

This journey was nothing short of exceptional, filled with joy, camaraderie, and personal growth. Sunnystones Camp provided the perfect backdrop for this incredible adventure, where students not only had a great time but also forged lasting memories, connections, and relationships. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn’t just any school trip; it was a life-changing experience. Through various activities and challenges, we learned the importance of teamwork, support, and collaboration. Discovering that achieving success often means working together and leaning on one another. The bonds formed during this experience will undoubtedly last us a lifetime.

The camp instilled in the students the importance of being respectful and considerate of others. These qualities are not only crucial in a school setting but will serve in every aspect of life. Sunny Stone Camp was not just an educational experience; it was a platform for personal growth. This school camp was an exceptional voyage of exploration in every way.

It allowed students to explore their capabilities, push boundaries, and tap into their potential. They returned with newfound confidence, a deeper understanding of themselves, and a sense of accomplishment that will stay with them as they face future challenges.

We extend a massive thankyou Ms Johnston, Ms Perese, Mr Golding and Ms Perdomo who made this experience possible.
