Australian Council for Career Education (ACCE) Excellence Awards 2025

Hume Central Secondary College was nominated and named as a finalist in the Australian Council for Career Education (ACCE) Excellence Awards 2025.

 We were nominated for the Department of Education’s Outstanding Provision of Career Education Award (School Award), a recognition put forward by the Senior Jobs Skills and Pathways Officer at the North West Regional Office of the Department of Education.

 This prestigious state-wide award celebrates schools that demonstrate outstanding commitment and ongoing efforts to enhance career education for all students. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our careers team through their involvement in pilot programs, community events, and collaborative networks, HCSC has contributed to the broader knowledge base of career education delivery while continually improving our own programs.

Although we did not win the award, to be one of only 5 schools selected as finalists is a great honour.
