Division Athletics Championships

On Monday, 3 August, students competed at Meadow Glen Athletics Track in the Division Athletics Championships.

We had 26 students proudly represent our school across a range of track and field events. Throughout the day, there were many outstanding performances, with five students qualifying for the Northern Metropolitan Region (NMR) Championships:

Jai – Javelin, Shot Put and Discus

Ashorina – 100m, 200m and High Jump

Ane – Javelin and Discus

Javier – Triple Jump and Long Jump

Michael S – 100m and 200m

Another highlight of the day was winning two 4 × 100m relay events, which was an exciting achievement.

These students will now compete at the Northern Metropolitan Region Championships, where they will aim to qualify for the State Finals. We wish them all the very best in the next stage of competition.

A big thank you to Michelle L, Jibreel E, Skye and Gareth for their support and encouragement of our students throughout the day. Their assistance helped make the event a great success.
