Garden Bed Update

At our Blair Street Campus, students recently provided an update on their garden project. After planting potatoes months ago, they harvested the crops this week and cooked them. The class found great joy in nurturing the plants from seeds to a bountiful harvest, learning lessons in patience, care, and nature’s wonders along the way. Excitedly digging into the soil, their faces lit up with happiness as they revealed the earthy treasures they had grown.

In the kitchen, the delightful scent of freshly cooked potatoes filled the air. Each student played a role in preparing the meal, from peeling and chopping to seasoning. What began as a simple cooking activity turned into a communal celebration of teamwork and togetherness.

Leaving with full stomachs and hearts, the students departed with memories of a garden that provided more than just food—it offered lasting lessons and connections for a lifetime.
