Hume City Council Young People’s Stories of Heritage and Diversity

We would like to congratulate Luancelia Loane and Zeynep Yavuz of Year 9. Their artwork (submitted in 2024) was accepted and published as part of the Hume City Council Young People’s Stories of Heritage and Diversity: A Hume Anthology 2024 art book/ magazine.

Their work is currently displayed at the Gee Lee-Wik Doleeen Gallery at the Global Learning Centre (75-95 Central Park Ave, Craigieburn), until February 23, 2025.

The art book/ magazine is published yearly for the community of Hume. The winners are divided into age groups. The theme was to explore their experiences, stories of Heritage and Diversity. The anthology was to capture the creative talents of young people in Hume.

The current theme for next years’ edition will be “Transformation and Beginnings”, so let’s get started and see if you can be part of this exciting opportunity.
