Intermediate Boys AFL

On Thursday 7 May, our Intermediate Boys represented Hume Central Secondary College at the Intermediate NMR Interschool Sport Day.

The team showed outstanding determination, resilience, and sportsmanship across both matches against Gladstone and Greenvale. Captain Ziad Abdullah led from the front with fearless tackling and incredible effort throughout the day, while many players showcased their skill, teamwork, and composure under pressure.

Although the results didn’t fall our way, the experience was invaluable, with our students continuing to develop their AFL knowledge, confidence, and teamwork. With many Year 9 students in the squad, the future looks very bright for this group.
