Melbourne Victory Schools Cup
Our Year 7/8 girls soccer team was invited by Melbourne Victory to participate in the Schools Cup. This is an annual Cup that Melbourne Victory organises annually for their Academy schools. Whilst we are not an Academy school, we were invited due to the positive feedback Victory had form their coaches about our Girls Programs.
The girls, were up against some very formidable teams, from Rowville, Hallam, St Francis, Overnewton, John Fawner and many others. These teams have had professional coaching for years as part of their academies.
Our wonderful girls came 3rd in their group, but they weren’t too overawed and ended up beating Fawkner around 15 -0.
So please congratulate this wonderful team who did the school proud.
