National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) Excursion
On Friday the 5th of December, the Year 8 students from Blair Street visited the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV). One of the first things students noticed was the famous water wall at the entrance – glass panels with water constantly running down them. Students enjoyed touching it because it looked and felt unique. Upon entering the gallery, students walked through large galleries filled with a mix of paintings, sculptures, photographs and installations. Students explored Australian Art, International Art, Contemporary and Interactive Art, and Design and Fashion Displays. It was a very enjoyable day for all who attended.
