NMR Senior Badminton Competition
On Thursday 30th July, our senior Badminton students participated in NMR competition at Darebin.
The girls team, consisting of Maryana, Sunny, Kaitlyn and Marseel won their first two match ups against Mt. Ridley and Montmorency. Before losing 4 sets to 2 against a strong University High School team, finishing 2nd in their pool on the day.
The boys team, consisting of Son (Year 10), Chirag, Jigur, Yayha, Bao also won their first two match ups against Craigieburn and St. Helena. Before losing on a count back – 3 sets all against a very strong University High School team, finishing 2nd in their pool on the day.
These students performed positively and collegiately across their competitions. They continue to represent HCSC with high performance at NMR level year after year in Badminton.
