Satellite Boy at ACMI

As part of our studies of the film Satellite Boy in English this term, the Year 8 students from the Blair Street campus attended an excursion to the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) cinemas at Federation Square.  Students saw a private screening of the film and were treated to a special lecture afterwards which explored the film’s themes, symbols, camera angles and techniques.  We all look forward to unpacking the film in greater detail back at school.
