Senior Girls Volleyball
On Wednesday 25th March, our Senior Girls Volleyball team participated in the NMR competition. They entered with high hopes, but knew the competition standard was going to be very high. They won their first match against Mount Ridley SC in two tight sets, before coming up against the might of Eltham College. They competed very strongly against a Volleyball academy school, losing in two tight sets. In their final match, they easily took care of Brunswick SC in straight sets, finishing second in their pool. Eltham won the final on the day, with our girls finishing in a tie for third overall. For our Year 12 girls, this brings an end to their long involvement with Volleyball competitions throughout the last six years. In particular, Ane Schuster who has been an outstanding contributor and leader to many HCSC Volleyball teams. A huge thank you to Victor Sio for your ongoing support with all the training sessions and mentoring with these girls over the years.
