SongMakers
Last Tuesday and Wednesday, the Government-sponsored Creative Initiative, SongMakers, featuring Australian music industry mentors Jackson Phelan, Liz Drummond and Seetali Mack, visited the Town Park Campus for two days of songwriting and recording workshops.
The initiative was a tremendous success, providing students with the opportunity to work alongside experienced music industry professionals to develop, write and record their own original compositions.
Over the two days, students collaborated with the mentors to create four outstanding original songs, each capturing their unique perspectives, experiences and reflections on life and the world around them.
The program was a wonderful opportunity for students to express their creativity, develop their songwriting and recording skills, and gain valuable insights into the Australian music industry.
