Supporting the Humanitarian Crisis in Turkiye and Syria
I’m confident that you are aware of the events over recent days in Turkiye and Syria that have resulted in thousands of deaths and many more thousands of people being left homeless due to earthquake damage.
As a school community, we can assist these people by contributing to the local efforts being organized by staff at the Sultan Butchery in Campbellfield.
Any families who wish to donate items should bring these to the reception area of their campus no later than 9.00am this Friday morning. I have been informed that due to customs restrictions ONLY brand new items can be accepted and that blankets, tents, doonas and sleeping bags are needed most.
Shortly after 9.00am on Friday, staff from the College will collect these items and deliver them to the Sultan Butchery who is organizing for the items to be shipped to those in need in Turkiye and Syria.
I hope that our school community will do all that it can to assist those in need.
