On Tuesday 21st of June, Year 10 Spanish students participated in a workshop on Spanish and Latin American food and culture.
The workshop involved students buying their own fresh produce from Queen Victoria Market (QVM) as well as participating in a cooking class, which involved learning about traditional Spanish and Latin American cuisine while applying their Spanish language skills.
Afterwards, students experienced the Spanish-speaking community in Melbourne by visiting the Hispanic stalls at QVM and engaging with the vendors to learn more about their cultural products.
