Year 11 Outdoor and Environmental Studies Camp

Last week, the 15th-17th October the Year 11 Outdoor and Environmental Studies students went on camp to Anglesea. They participated in a range of Adventure Activities such as Camping for the 2 nights in tents at the local Anglesea Family Caravan Park, Surfing on Anglesea Main Beach and High Ropes and Flying Fox at the Livewire Park in Lorne, they also looked at the wide range of impacts these activities create on the environment. They also had some educational session on the impacts that are seen throughout this area due to Recreation and Economic activities such as mining and tourism, and the extensive Conservation activities that the local community groups do to conserve their local environment.  Overall students participated with enthusiasm and gave everything a go, also representing the college very well throughout the trip. Well done Year 11’s.
