Year 12 Environmental Science Measuring Biodiversity Excursion
On Friday 20th February the year 12 Environmental Science class travelled to Werribee Zoo to learn more about conducting field work to measure the biodiversity of an ecosy. Students collected primary biodiversity data to evaluate the conservation efforts undertaken to save the Eastern Barred Bandicoot, and explored the human threats impacting this native animal that was once classified as extinct in the wild.
