Year 7 & 8 Pickleball Division Event
On Tuesday 27th October a group of year 7s and year 8s from both junior campuses competed in their first Pickleball Division event. The event was held at Runway Pickleball Centre in Tullamarine – a great new indoor centre for Pickleball. The students really enjoyed the conditions and the friendly competition. Lots of learnings and improvements occurred across the day and all our students had plenty of fun and were wanting more Pickleball. We took four teams on the day, with our Year 8 girls team convincingly won their event, going undefeated. Our other three teams showed improvement and won some matches against other schools. We will look forward to future Pickleball events in the coming years.
Thank you to Skye Murphy for supporting the event.
