Year 7 Sport Update

On Tuesday 23rd of May, Hume Central Year 7 students represented our College with pride in the Intermediate Netball and Boys/Mixed Soccer division.

The teamwork, dedication and efforts from all students were tremendous. A very big round of applauses to all students who participated. Our girl’s netball team competed against Aitken College and Gladstone Park SC, after not scoring in the first match against Aitken College, the girls excelled against Gladstone Park 19 – 10. The girls put on a fantastic game improving their understanding of technical rules and game play throughout the day.

Well done to Jiesikah, who scored 10 goals in our second match and led our team effectively.

Our boys/ mixed soccer team placed second overall after losing their first match, they competed hard to win their next three matches.
