Year 8 Humanities City Excursion

Our Year 8 students explored Melbourne CBD as part of their Humanities fieldwork excursion!

Working in small groups across three precincts, students collected data on liveability, transport, pedestrian activity, green spaces, amenities and noise levels.

From Melbourne Central and the State Library to Southbank, the NGV, Federation Square and Melbourne’s famous laneways, students put their research and navigation skills into action.

They are now using their findings to create written reports and short films showcasing their city experience.

Well done to all our Year 8 students for representing Hume Central so brilliantly and showing they’re ready for the Year 9 City Experience next year!
