Year 8 Urban Cities Excursion

On Tuesday, August 26th, our Year 8 Humanities students embarked on an exciting journey to the city as part of their urban cities coursework. During this educational excursion, students engaged in observations and fieldwork to deepen their understanding of urban environments.

Highlights of the Trip

• Riverfront and Entertainment District: Students explored vibrant areas filled with cultural and recreational activities.
• Knowledge & Transport Precinct: A closer look at the city’s educational and infrastructure hubs provided valuable insights.
• Central Urban Culture Zone: Rich in history and modern culture, this area offered a unique blend of the past and present.

This hands-on experience allowed students to connect classroom learning with real-world urban dynamics, fostering a greater appreciation for the complexities of city life.
