Year 8 Volleyball
On the 28th of February, our year 8 students participated in the Woodlands Division Volleyball competition.
The girls displayed remarkable team spirit, starting off strong by winning their first set. Although they lost the second set, they fought hard in a close third set, only narrowly missing out on victory.
Subsequently, they bounced back and triumphed in their next match in two straight sets. However, this effort was not enough to secure a spot in the finals.
The boys celebrated a victory in their initial game, which also extended to three sets. They continued their winning streak in the second match, advancing to the playoffs where the winner progressed to the next stage.
Unfortunately, luck was not on our side ending their journey in the competition.
All students displayed tremendous teamwork and sportsmanship on the day and should be very proud of their efforts!
