Year 9 Camp

At the end of Term 2, Year 9 students from the Junior Campuses embarked on a thrilling 3-day, 2-night camp to Mount Macedon. The camp was packed with team bonding activities and exciting adventures.

The excitement kicked in upon our arrival, with group division for a scavenger hunt and two more activities before heading to inspect our cabins, which the students were eager to see. The following days were brimming with positivity and laughter, as two campuses united.

The bus ride back was filled with chatter about the highlights of the trip and the anticipation of sharing their experiences with family and friends. The camp at Mount Macedon had not only provided an escape from the everyday routine but had also forged stronger bonds among the Year 9 students, leaving them with a renewed sense of community and lasting friendships that will continue throughout their time at Hume Central.

We express our gratitude to all the staff who contributed, participated, and made this successful and wonderful experience possible for our students.
