On Wednesday 13th of July, Year 11 Biology students attended the Gene Technology Access Centre in Parkville. There students were introduced to a number of different genetic tests that draws on ways in which they can be used to diagnose disease in prenatal and predictive testing. The approaches to genetic testing explored in this program will help support students for their topic of interest in their Unit 2, Outcome 3 assessment task. Overall a great opportunity for our Year 11 Biology students.
