ELC City Excursion

On Wednesday 24th May, students at the English Language Centre went on an excursion to the city with Ms Jude and Ms Tedge. This term, the students have been focussing on simple descriptions and recounts at their respective levels, and they are using the excursion experience to develop their English language writing in class. The group visited some of the iconic sites of Melbourne. They tried egg tart in Chinatown, ate lunch by the Yarra at Southgate and watched communities celebrate in Federation Square. The students enjoyed exploring new places and writing notes to resource their writing. The sun stayed out all day and the students enjoyed the change from the regular learning environment.
