RMIT STEAM Excursion

On Wednesday October 18, selected year 10 students visited RMIT to explore the fascinating world of STEAM. They were given the opportunity to showcase their intellectual prowess by interpreting DNA analysis and deducing the probable culprit in a mock forensic investigation. Additionally, they were able to apply computational thinking, algorithms, and robotics to tackle real-world problems. The students then channeled their rocket-building skills to construct air-powered rockets with the aim of reaching Mars, albeit across the room. Throughout the visit, the students relished in the experience and were able to engage with the knowledgeable and helpful RMIT staff by posing any and all questions that came to mind.
